Cleaning out and/or Rebuilding a Hydra-Flex Cannon.
Tools needed:
- Allen wrench set
- Plumbing pliers
- Clean Shop rags
- Cleaning agents
Parts needed:
- P-HFI-243 – Hydra Cannon Valve O-ring Replacement Kit
Steps:
1. Isolate water, and air from the system. This can be done by turning the circled valve perpendicular to the lines they are on.
2. Locate the Hydra-Flex Cannon you want to clean out.
3. Disconnect the injector.
4. Disconnect the airlines.
5. Remove the Hydra-Flex Cannon Cap and Clean out the Hydra-Flex Cannon with a clean shop rag. You will need to remove the top cap to get the spring and plunger out and clean those as well.
6. Inspect the Hydra-flex Cannon’s seals for damage
7. Replace any damaged seals or components
8. Reassemble the Hydra-Flex Cannon and Hydra-Flex Manifold.
9. Restore water and air to the system. This can be done by turning the valves back to parallel.
