This product, formerly known as our Tommy’s EWF cleaner, is now our new franchise standard for Tommy’s Express #9, a one stop shot for cleaning cloth, floor, and windows.
Setup Instructions:
- Purchase Tommy’s Express #9B, available on our Tommy’s store, conveniently available in easy chem containers under part number C-9-EZ-B.
- Use the rest of your current inventory of the old Tommy’s Express Cloth & Window cleaner. Once depleted, thoroughly clean and rinse out the Tommy’s Express #9 tote underneath the maintenance pod with water before refilling the tote with our new Tommy’s Express #9B product, C-9-EZ-B
- Cut a new draw line and install a new foot valve and weight for your Tommy’s Express #9 tote, ensuring the foot valve reaches the bottom of the container
- Ensure that the Tommy’s Express #9B product is properly plumbed to your dry hugger cleaning function, and that it is also properly plumbed to the “Windows” switch on the maintenance pod.
- Dial in the usage and dilution for your new Tommy’s Express #9B product in the maintenance pod. Install either a 2.25 or 3.25 injector with a grey Hydraflex metering tip based on preference, targeting between a 1:7-10 dilution ratio for everyday bay gun cleaning.
- For heavy duty cleaning, you may self-dilute as strong as 1:2 (50% water and 50% Tommy’s Express #9B) using a foam cannon attachment on your bay gun for increased cleaning power, like this one here.
- Ensure the new Tommy’s Express #9B product is filled into the Tommy’s Express #9 tote and hook up the new draw line to the injector. Test the “Windows” switch on the maintenance pod and the “Dry Hugger Cleaner” function to ensure the product is properly drawing from the container.
