There are two ways to sell a membership in the Point of Purchase. It is important to first recognize if the Guest is new to the wash, or if they are a returning member. If a Guest has never had a membership with us before, the InstaClub 2 process will be used. If a Guest has had a previous membership, the InstaClub 1 process will be used.
To sell a membership using InstaClub 1 for inactive members:
Note: The Guest must already have a profile and previous membership with Tommy's Express.
- Select the Insta-Clubs tab.
- Select the Guest's wash package.
- Select the Cash or Credit Card option.
- DO NOT select Create Guest for InstaClub 1. The Guest should already be in the system.
- Enter the Guest's name and phone number to send the subscription code via SMS. A reactivation code will also be found on the Guest's receipt.
- Select Next to continue the cash-out process.
- Follow the normal transaction process using the Cash or Credit Card buttons.
- Be sure to give a copy of the receipt to the Guest so they can scan the QR code and apply their wash membership in the TommyClub App.
