There are two ways to sell a membership in the Point of Purchase. It is important to first recognize if the Guest is new to the wash, or if they are a returning member. If a Guest has never had a membership with us before, the InstaClub 2 process will be used. If a Guest has had a previous membership, the InstaClub 1 process will be used.
To sell a membership using InstaClub 2 for new Guests:
Note: The Guest must not have a profile or previous membership. This process is for new members only. This process will start to build a profile for a new member and will initiate an S.M.S. text message that will be sent to the Guest to finalize their profile and agree to the terms and conditions on the TommyClub app.
- Select the Insta-Clubs tab.
- Select the Guest's wash package.
- If a WORKS wash discount is being applied, click the discount code button and scan the QR code.
- Select Create Guest.
- Verify that the license plate, state, and vehicle make are correct from the L.P.R. cameras.
- Enter the vehicle model, year, and color.
- Enter the Guest's first name, last name, and cell phone number.
- Select Create Guest.
- In the final screen, review the information found on the right side. If everything is correct, complete the transaction by selecting Credit or Other Cash Amount.
Note: If a Guest uses cash for the first month, they must upload credit card information to the TommyClub app to continue recurring charges for the membership.
