Maintenance: Check and Replace Metering Tips

Parts Required:

• Lean Metering Tips (P-HFI-220-K)
• Ultra-Lean Metering Tips (P-HFI-219-K)

Tools Required:

• Safety glasses and gloves

Procedure:

1. Always refer to the Detergent Pod Standard Sheet provided by the detergents team before changing metering tips.
2. Put on gloves and safety glasses.
3. Remove draw line from injector and unscrew metering tip.
4. Inspect metering tip for clogging. You should be able to see light through even the smallest metering tip.
5. Referencing the Pod Standard, replace the metering tip with a new one of the same color. It is important not to reuse metering tips. Keep in mind that some colors can look similar to others, especially after being used with detergent. Always reference the pod standard to ensure the proper tip is being used.
6. Reinstall the draw line and test the function.
