Maintenance: Replace Foot Valves, Weights, and Draw Lines

Recommended Interval:

• Every 3 months or upon failure

Parts Needed:

• Blue foot valve (P-CHE-2003)
• Stainless steel weight (P-WAT-2106)
• Superthane Ether/Presoak draw line (P-CHE-2163) 

Tools Needed:

• Safety glasses and gloves
• Tubing cutter

Procedure:

1. Put on gloves and safety glasses.
2. Open detergent tote and retrieve the bottom of the draw line.
3. Carefully remove foot valve and stainless steel weight.
4. Drop draw line back into the detergent tote and loosen the draw line grip fitting.
5. Remove Draw line from injector, and pull from tote fitting, allowing all detergent in the line to drain back into tote.
6. Insert a new section of draw line into draw line grip fitting, then install new foot valve and stainless steel weight.
7. Push draw line down so the foot valve is laying on the bottom of the tote.
8. Cut new draw line to length, and reconnect to injector.
9. Test the function.
